Mykel's Inauguration Speech

[This blog was written between October 15 and October 21, 2024. BEFORE the presidential election]

My fellow Americans:,

Thank you from the bottom of my dark little heart. I proudly accept your choice of me as the first official dictator of the United States of America. [pause for applause]

Besides to all of you, I’m giving credit for my victory to the new and fairest of election systems: The Unpopularity Vote. As you know, I ran for dictator as the unpopularity default candidate. And this year, as most years, the majority of qualified voters either voted for someone other than the “winning” candidate or did not vote at all. That means the winner is a loser and I have won the office. My first act will be to abolish it.

Presidents… except for Jimmy Carter… suck. The presidential system sucks. It cannot be reformed, so I have abolished it. As your new dictator, there will, of course, be big changes. I want to talk about some of them now.

My first action as dictator will be to abolish that fuckin’ song with bombs and rockets in it. All that flag waving and hand over heart stuff. It will be replaced by the great Clash classic: I’m So Bored With The USA. Of course, there will be a spelling change: I’m So BOARD With The USA.

But that’s not the only change that I, as your new dictator will put into place.

For example, it’s clear that a large number of Americans oppose gay marriage. And, as your dictator, I will do away with that. But I’m not one to follow a good idea only halfway. I will also do away with hetero marriage. No laws will be made requiring or legalizing marriage. No extra government benefits will be given to married people. Marriage certificates will not be issued by the government. Divorce, like marriage, will be the province of religion. Should we have legal documents for first catechisms or baptism? Let the church (or synagogue or mosque) do its job. It’s no business of the government.

Of course, if couples… or groups… want to be married as the religious act it is, they’re free to do so. I see no reason why any gender shouldn’t be able to perform this act with any other gender. Gay marriages will be like gay bar mitzvahs. If you’re interested, find the right guy or gal to perform the ceremony. And POW you’re married... for whatever that’s worth… to you. The government will not be involved.

One place where the government WILL be involved is in education. Everyone has the right and the duty to attend public school. Church schools, private schools, home schooling… POW! ALL GONE! At least all gone as institutions REPLACING public education.

If parents want to teach their kids about a giant purple cabbage they call God, they can do it… but not on OUR time. Public schooling allows kids to experience people different from themselves. Different races, nationalities, colors, genders, ways of thinking… Parochial schools only separate kids… by religion. Private (pay) schools separate kids by family income. That will end.

Schooling will mean meeting Sammy from Siam and checking out the goods on Maya from Malaysia. If you want to send your kids to Sunday school… do it on Sunday. If you want special tutoring on the weather changing conspiracy… hire someone OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL. But, from now on, all Americans will share a common history, a common knowledge, a common understanding of the world and of each other. That’s what school does-- or at least what it will do under the Board Reich. I don’t get religious school, but if you want the vagaries of another system, you can have it IN ADDITION TO public schools, not INSTEAD OF those schools.

And speaking of schools… of kids… of God… God has done some pretty fucked up things. She has condemned all of us to a deadly ending. She has strewn her favors unequally. She has created AIDS and Covid (if you believe). But one of the few GOOD things she’s done is to invent puberty. There is a reason 13-year old Jews say TODAY I AM A MAN/WOMAN. God knows when it’s time to fill in the pubic hair and sends biological messages when that time comes. We should respect those messages.

We should know too. Instead of completely arbitrary drinking/sex/voting ages, why not listen to God? Childhood ends when girls ovulate and boys can spill the seed. Kids can see movie super-heroes slaughter dozens at 13… but they can’t drink a beer? That will end NOW. Children will cease to be children on their 13^th birthday. Their full rights will be bestowed on them when nature says they should be bestowed.

And now, my fellow Americans, let me focus on the idiocy of this election. History will decide if it was won or lost because of “the border crisis,” with both sides “acting tough” on allowing people to step over some line in the desert.

Just as teachers learn from their students. Large countries should learn from smaller ones. This election may have been won or lost because of border crisis stupidity. How do you end a border crisis? Easy! End borders.

Take a look at this PowerPoint map. Check out the border between Germany, France, and Belgium. In the 1980s, I lived awhile near where all three countries come together… in a German town called Aachen. I could (and did) have breakfast in Germany, lunch in Holland and dinner in Belgium… and walked freely… no walls, no immigration officers, just a little road… from one country to the next.

That’s the way it should be here. Ronald Reagan famously said to Gorbachev TEAR DOWN THAT WALL. Well, I’m saying the same thing… no, not saying but doing. NO WALLS! Boardian Rights of Passage® makes people free to move wherever they like. Cross from Nogales Arizona to Nogales Mexico as easily as I cross from Manhattan to Hoboken. No passports, no ID, no visas… just do it. Get it? A dictator can make the world a freer place than any so-called elected official.

Thank you for your attention and for your support. Enjoy the free booze (over 13 years old only) and the free food. This election cycle has been long and grueling. Luckily, it has been the last ever.

The next problem is debt. Joey Biden wanted to free students from university debt. BFD! What about credit card debt? Housing debt? Medical debt?… Fuck it. It’s all gone. As of today: NOBODY OWES ANYTHING. All debt is canceled… abolished. We start from zero… and move toward a GREATER society where we stay at zero for as long as we live.

If you have money now, you can keep it… but take it out of the bank… in cash. In the great move to FULL UNEMPLOYMENT, banks will be among the first to go. How many useless people just sit around all day shifting ones and zeros from screen A to screen B? Why not free those people to make art, music, sports, or babies? Old bank buildings will just provide that much more space to house the homeless.

Yes, first we stop credit cards and other instruments of debt. Then we enforce price controls… limiting what we need to pay. Think of how many jobs we can get rid of… no banks… no stock exchanges… no mutual funds… It’s just crazy that the presidential idiots before me wanted to create full employment, when the goal should have always been full UNemployment. Imagine spending more than half your waking hours doing something you hate… and preparing for that… and getting to it and coming from it. You don’t have to imagine it… you’re probably already living it. It’s crazy… and we’ll end it as soon as we can.

After we rid ourselves of banks, let’s get rid of guns, bombs, fighter planes, aircraft carriers. What a bunch of worthless shit! Joe Biden knew that when he gave it away. His plan was to let the government pay the factories to make stuff that kills people. We don’t have to use it. We’re over that. Let others do it. People who kill people are the luckiest people in the world. We give them the tools. And help pay for them to do it. That ends now.

Yeah, we have some cultural changes to make. We need to stop praising veterans. The US has been on the wrong side of every war since WWII. And even in WWII our veterans committed some extreme atrocities… can you say Hiroshima and Nagasaki? 140,000 people smoked.

Veterans who “died for their country” are worshipped with their own national holiday… and those who made it out alive appear at home plate for baseball tributes. I say no. Instead of worshiping veterans, we should pity them. They are state-hired killers, most of whom do it in order to earn enough money tos live. Movies and TV portray them as heroes. The real heroes are those who refuse to fight.

During the Vietnam war, the government found that citizens don’t like seeing their kids returning from war in body bags. Joe Biden was smart enough to figure out how to keep building tanks and bombs… and giving them away for OTHER PEOPLE to fight wars… passing the body bags on to other countries and other fighting people. When armyless people fight back in the only way they can, they’re labeled terrorists. Is death by a plane flown into a building any less death than death by bombs falling from a plane flown overhead? Under the Board dictatorship, planes will be used to carry people and goods from place to place… that’s all. Tanks will be converted to rural/roadless food delivery trucks.

The death industry will itself die. Machine guns will be changed into industrial bolt setters. NATO will become a free trade zone… and free will mean FREE. FREE means you don’t pay! The ultimate goal is a free society, where you don’t pay for anything.

We already spoke about an end to passports, borders and WALLS. But where do we put all those people who want to escape from the climate change or criminal culture the US created in their country in the first place. We need thousands of buildings to house these people. Yeah, we’ll already have the banks, but that won’t be enough. Where can win find houses for thousands of others?

Yo, buckaroos...We have them already. Imagine hundreds of buildings wasted on people who don’t want to be there. No, I’m not talking about factories and offices. Those will ALSO be eliminated under the Boardian doctrine. Now I’m talking about prisons. You know, someone steals a wallet from Mr. Richguy. What is the resulting revenge? He loses his home if he has one. His job if he has one. He is confined in some hellish place, fed bad food, and when he gets out has no place to go and no money to live on except what he can steal from the next Mr. Richguy.

Jails must end… be turned into decent housing for anyone who needs housing. Right now the US has a higher percentage of incarcerated people than any other country in the world. Over a million and a quarter Americans are in prison. How do we end this? By ending prisons, obviously. How do we end cash robbery, internet scams, bank theft? By ending money, obviously.

I spoke about the need to create a society with full unemployment. How do we achieve that? First we cancel debt... that means stopping credit cards and other instruments of debt. Then we enforce price controls… limiting what we need to pay. But there’s more.

Right now the top 4 percent of Americans make as much money as the bottom 51%. And that’s just in wages. It doesn’t count investment income. If we want a country where equality counts, the fastest way to achieve it is to end the grossest inequality! That means ending money. How could we be the land of the free if we have to pay for everything? Again I’ll say it: Free means you don’t pay!

I expect a continuation of identity politics, created (successfully) to divide people instead of bringing them together in the fight against the rule of money. → I Never Support A Winner dept: This year, as I have in the past several elections, I will have cast my presidential vote for Sid Yiddish. Thanks to our great electoral system, in New York, the only time a Democrat loses is when it doesn’t make any difference to the final ballot. For most of you suckers, if the one you voted for loses… you’ll be angry. If the one you voted for wins… you’ll be disappointed. Me? I won’t have that problem.

Passes and Glasses

It is hard to let old beliefs go. They are familiar. We are comfortable with them and have spent years building systems and developing habits that depend on them. Like a man who has worn eyeglasses so long that he forgets he has them on, we forget that the world looks to us the way it does because we have become used to seeing it that way through a particular set of lenses. Today, however, we need new lenses. And we need to throw the old ones away.

I sit in front of my HP, typing these words. To my left, on a round night-table is a mini wall made of 35 pairs of eyeglasses… stacked neatly… 7 piles... 5 glasses each. A small tag hangs off the right hinge of each pair. Each one is special, and I need to know what it is.

For example, I wear my Blue Blocker glasses to use the computer before I go to sleep. Watching blueless porn takes a bit of getting used to, but after spending my load, and wiping down the mouse, I sleep even easier not exposed to the blue light from the screen.

FLASH TO THE MORNING: Most of my news comes from either Al Jazeera or the BBC… the only news sources I trust. There’s a story about a guy in Atlanta… he shot up a few massage parlors… ones he’d patronized… He tells the cops he did it because he was a sex addict and he needed to destroy the cause of his addiction. The police say he’s a nut. The press… the people on the street… my friends... say he’s a Hate Crime Killer.

“Great!” I think. Finally people learn that Sex Workers are humans too. Entitled to dignified lives, legal protection, freedom from harassment. It’s about fuckin’ time!

But wait! The crime of the guy with the gun is not an anti-sex worker crime. Three quarters of the victims were from China or Korea. Even though all were in sex-selling places, this wasn’t an anti-sex-worker crime. It was an ASIAN HATE CRIME.

What? 100% of the victims were in sex-selling places. But they were killed because they were (mostly) Asians??? The guy complains about his sex addiction, but he shoots holes in people because… because they have slanty eyes?

Hold on! I know how to understand this.

I turn to my wall of glasses and look for the ones marked RACE. Ah, here they are. I slip them on and reread the article. Now I get it. Yeah, there are white people, black people, yellow people, and some red people. Those colors don’t come out without the glasses. People on the street look just like… well… people on the street. It’s the race glasses that bring out the browns, blacks, yellows and whites. They make it all as clear and colorful as a Christmas card.

So when I initially (pre-race glasses) post on facebook that I don’t get this Asian stuff… I mean, it’s weird for find Asians in business run by Asians, right? This is one of the answers I get from facebook:

Asians are being predated (sic) upon by blacks (not whites) because many blacks are extremely racist against Asians and black criminals view Asians as being the weakest and easiest victims to predate upon. White people are not the problem here (or with anything else, excepting stupid white liberal women and white cuck males going along with the pro-criminal black/anti-white agenda of the globalist "elites.)"

Without my race glasses, I would have never understood this. I would have just seen the race-beaters as paranoid, ignorant, uneducated, propaganda victims. I wouldn’t have noticed race. But now, thanks to the glasses. I SEE!!!!

FLASH TO A FEW WEEKS AHEAD: Glassesless, I’m out for a stroll to the post office, then to K-Mart, the Korean grocery store... for kimchi dumplings and makkoli. For those of you unfortunate enough not to be acquainted with this nectar of the Oriental gods… Makkoli is a cheap drink, sold in plastic, soft-drink style bottles. It has the color and consistency of semen… and a taste like boozy Seven-Up. Heavenly.

Today, there are lots of cops… in pairs… just standing around. I wonder if they’re part of a new city program to put cops on the street instead of in cruisers. Maybe it’s part of a change to make cops like they are in old children’s books. You ask them for directions, wave them over if you need help getting a cat out of a tree, walk over to them for ask about a wandered-off toddler. Nice... a move in the right direction… I say.

When I get home, I get out a tin of sardines and the last of the matzo… to prepare my lunch. I pour myself a glass of hibiscus tea, sit in front of my Roku (a gift from a fb friend), and turn on the news.

FLASH TO THE DEREK CHAUVIN TRIAL: A guy wearing a suit sits behind a desk. Underneath his image is a sign… VERDICT IN CHAUVIN CASE EXPECTED MOMENTARILY.

I predict the jury will find the cop guilty of something relatively minor. Third degree whatchamacallit… or intent to commit gobbledygook in the second degree. They can’t let him go. The streets would explode. But, come on, would YOU vote to convict a cop in a city where you have to walk around and have other cops know what you did?

[NOTE: My proof-reader says “The jurors were anonymous.” I say, if you have a “justice” system, where the cops know the lawyers... know the judges... and the janitors... at the courthouse. There’s no way in hell the jurors can be anonymous… at least not for long.]

Okay… here it comes. The jury walks in… we can’t see them, but the judge handles the paper. One by one he reads the verdicts:

Second-degree murder: GUILTY
Third-degree murder: GUILTY
Manslaughter: GUILTY

BLURF! What a surprise! A Grand Slam! The jury finds the cop guilty of all three. There is cheering in the streets… a victory… the start of teaching the American police that black lives DO matter.. and that….

Whoa, I’m not getting it. In the last five years, nearly 500 unarmed people were killed by cops… about 60 more blacks than whites. That’s the order of the day. How will throwing one guy in jail for who-knows-how-many years change any of that?

Okay, it’s time for the race glasses. Let’s see what this is about.

Oh, I get it! This is about a WHITE cop and a BLACK victim. The world has to see that… for once… “the trial of the century” is NOT a black “criminal” driving a Ford Bronco away from a dead white white woman. Now, the minstrel show has to star someone in whiteface. No Ford Broncos in this one… just a knee and a neck.

Whoopeee! “We” won!

Yeah, right.

Race-colored glasses are available to anyone who wants them. And people of all political stripes wear them by the boatload. Order your pair today!

FLASH TO ANOTHER PROBLEM: In this millennium, the US military has been the most destructive force in the world. Estimates are that Americans killed more than a million people during the Iraqi war. The US invaded Iraq because Saudis flew a couple planes into a couple buildings in New York. Huh? I don’t get it.

I try the race glasses, but Arabs don’t change color. Libyan, Somalian, Iraqi, Syrian, Yemenite… they all look the same. The US military, a bunch of trained murderers, is an embarrassment. I know some people are tricked into joining the military. Others are forced into it by judges who say… join or get out of the country. I feel sorry for those people… but I wouldn’t want to be one of them. Why would anyone?

Then, I read that transgender people are pushing for the right to join the military. In 2015, liberals hail the decision to allow this. Conservatives condemn it. The Trump reversal of this is hailed by conservatives and condemned by liberals. I don’t get it.

Will transgender people demand entrance into the mafia? Will they demand the right to be switch-pullers on electric chairs? Jailers? Pharmaceutical lobbyists? I don’t get it. Wait… I need to switch glasses. Here we are… the Equality Glasses. I slip them on and suddenly I SEE.

What matters is that all people have equal rights. It doesn’t matter if its the right to do something good or the right to do something bad. If one group has it, another group demands it.

Now it all makes sense. Marriage, an oppressive institution that requires sexual fidelity, and legal bonding, gay people need that right to be equal. Corporate presidents, some of the scummiest people on earth... billionaires made rich on the labor of others… Men do it. There should be an equal amount of women doing the same. It’s EQUALITY between groups that counts. What it is that’s equal has nothing to do with it. Only equality counts.

Without the equality glasses, I might wonder why a woman who has worked in middle management for 2 years demands the same salary as a man who’s been there for 10 years. EQUALITY! I get it. Men… women… both work 8 hours. Equal pay for equal work. Nothing else matters.

But wait! If equality counts, why is there a violence against women act? Shouldn’t that be equal? Should there just be a violence against other people act?

You guessed it, time for the sex glasses. Everything is sex… or gender. Now I see the whorehouse murders even clearer. Who knew that having a type (long hair, Oriental, pale skin, lots of flesh, butch, fem) was fetishizing? I thought a fetish was some kind of carved object that casts a voodoo spell. On the porn sites, “fetish” usually involves leather and ball gags. But with the glasses, I see that EVERYTHING is a fetish.

Like girls with turned up noses? It’s a nasal fetish. Think guys with a gap between their front teeth are cute? It’s a dental-notch fetish. Whatever and whoever is attractive to you is your fetish. You just happen to like a type… just the way they look…. can’t think of a reason? No problem. Someone ELSE will find you the reason. Like Chinese girls? It’s because you think they’re passive and submissive. Like black guys? It’s because you think you think you can show your liberalitude. Like fat people? It’s because you dream of being engulfed by your sex partner.

You only think you have a type. You really have a fetish. And it makes you a danger to society and a potential murderer. I can see it all through my sex glasses.

It’s late, I’m taking off my glasses. I need to rest my eyes… or maybe I’ll watch a movie and indulge my Miike fetish.

–>So what’s my excuse dept: Count Down, a recent book by Dr Shanna Swan, argues that world pollution is altering humans' reproductive development and threatening the future of our species.
    The book tells how pollution is leading to higher rates of erectile dysfunction and a growing numbers of babies born with small penises. I assume these are male babies. You can read about the book and its findings here.

–> I told you so dept: (redux): People who’ve been reading me since Truman’s election know that I’ve long been an opponent of recycling. My main objection is that it provides an excuse for consumption. “It’s okay for me to buy that crap… I’ll recycle it so everything will be fine.”
    Now, I read that recycling plants are poisoning the communities where they’re located. One of the (fortunately) few lead recycling plants is doing real harm to the works and those who live close to the plant. I’m sure there are more recycling polluters than that. Where are those poisonous rare earths and lithium culled from the recycled computer batteries? In your lunch, I’d say.

–> China virus redux: The MIT Technology Review writes that we shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss that Wuhan lab as the origin of the plague. The animal source just doesn’t make sense, as there are lots of “wet markets” in China, but few virus labs… and the location of one of them is the location of the virus outbreak.
    The report talks about the World Health Organization, and how it was closely monitored by Chinese authorities when its team concluded that a lab leak was so unlikely that further investigations of it were unnecessary.
    The WHO’s director general later walked that statement back, claiming that “all hypotheses remain open and require further analysis and studies.” A group of 26 scientists, social scientists, and science communicators have now signed their own letter arguing that WHO investigators lacked “the mandate, the independence, or the necessary accesses” to determine whether or not SARS-CoV-2 could have been the result of a laboratory incident.

NOTE: This is my third WEEKLY blog. I’ve heard from several readers that “it’s too long.” Maybe they’re right. I know the feeling of reading on a screen. An old friend from the band The Apostles sent me a 65 page book he wrote. It’s a great read, but I can only manage 10 pages at a time on the computer. Something about the media shortens attention or concentration. For me, this is a test. Please let me know what you think. So far, these segments seem too short. Next month: BI-WEEKLY!

The focus of this column is feedback from others... explaining how they think on topics I don't understand. Last week I asked for an explanation of how omnivores can excuse the horrors of factory farming, yet condemn less-horrible cock-fighting and bull-fighting. This week I ask about...)

GAY MARRIAGE: I’ve long been an opponent of gay marriage... and straight marriage… at least as government recognized institutions. Again, if you want to see my reasons, just go back and read everything I’ve ever written before.

BUT, I can understand the thinking of those who want to be allowed to partake of the benefits of marriage: Half-price healthcare, automatic hospital visitation rights. the ability to transfer funds without being taxed, the right to social security benefits someone else paid for… and this from Consumer Reports: If there's a large discrepancy between the bride and groom's incomes, the lower-earning spouse might serve as a tax shelter for the higher earner.

I get it. You want those perks offered only to married people. That is… to those who follow a government sanctioned religious rite. I don’t like it. I don’t support it. I think it’s unfair, but I understand it.

What I don’t get is those who claim to want gay marriage on the basis of equal rights! It’s as clear as the blood on the sheets that married and unmaried people do NOT have equal rights. Marriage itself is inequality. The “right” to get married is the “right” to give up your freedom and participate in a fundamentally unequal institution. This has nothing to do with equality. The “right” to marry becomes a duty to marry, with insurance companies demanding marriage before they’ll insure “a partner.” TWO becomes the official number... required before you can avoid estate taxes or gain the right to someone else’s social security when they kick the bucket.

It’s as if, in the 1800s, gay people demanded the right to own slaves… in the name of equality. Slavery, like marriage is an institution of inequality. Allowing more slave owners (or marriages) does not change that inequality. So please… explain to me how gay marriage makes people equal.

→ A touch of integrity dept: US Attorney General William Barr asked facebook to build a “back door” into its encryption of Messenger and WhatsApp messages and calls. Why? For SECURITY, of course, so criminals can’t send messages without the cops reading them. (Of course, in pre-internet letter-writing times, the cops did open a few letters… but not in anywhere neat the number they do or want to do now).

"The 'backdoor' access you are demanding for law enforcement would be a gift to criminals, hackers, and repressive regimes," WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger executives wrote. I’m still not a fan of facebook (though I use it too much), but you gotta give punk points where they’re due.
